He is late getting home, but he is also... well, not really late. With singular standing apartments, you have the luxury of using the roof; so, indeed, he is using the roof.
He's absently tossing dynamite for Uri to chase and catch to bring back before the wic burns up and the dynamite explodes. No calling animal protection on him, Uri enjoys the entire thing! Besides the cat needed training as much as anyone else.
It is a good distraction, in any case. That makes it worth it.
